N&R are a UK demolition company, specialising in the dismantling and demolition of redundant industrial plant across the country. Many of our projects also include recovery of equipment and reassembly works, often within the quarry sector.

As a demolition contractor, our services range from the planning and coordination of the removal of specific structures within a quarry environment, to more complex projects such as the dismantling of a complete plant landscape. With years of demolition experience within the business, N&R Contractors always demolish industrial plant in a safe and controlled manner, working on it from the ground where it is far safer to do so. Once a structure has been demolished, our highly skilled operators are able to quickly and safely cut and segregate the different grades of material for reuse or disposal off-site, whichever is required by our client.
In cases where hazardous materials are present such as asbestos, N&R Contractors will conduct a full risk assessment prior to implementing the safe removal and disposal of all materials, ensuring the site is safe for reuse as soon as possible.
N&R Contractors often work in collaboration with our parent company to help meet client goals. For instance, Thor Atkinson Steel Fabrications were recently commissioned to design, fabricate and install a new glass recycling plant at Ellesmere Port. However, before the project could proceed the old recycling plant had to be demolished and the site cleared by N&R Contractors in preparation for the installation of the new plant.
